The best place to watch the World Cup?

For those staying in South Africa, the question is? Which places are the best to watch the games. I know of two places Eastwoods (Pta) and Eastwoods (Tyger Valley) Nominate your favourite place and perhaps we can persuade them to throw us a party!

Greetings from France - Gabriel reporting ...

Hallo

I hope you are well, with me its going very well. I have arrived in France. What a lovely place. What lovely people. They are very clever, even the small children can speak french fluently. The flight to france was really fun.

We stopped in Harrare, Kinshasha, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kairo, Rome and Brussels. I did not know that Cargo aeroplanes were so big. By the way they confiscated my biltong, and I had to trade my camera for accommodation in Nairobi. I will try to get a new one as soon as I can.

To get back to France. They are similar to us. The french people has a town named after my home town but they call it Paree. I told them it is Parys, but they got so used to this name and doesnt seem to care. They do not speak english very well, but I found that if I speak Zulu very slowly and use my hands a lot, they seem to understand.

They showed me some interesting stuff. They are busy building a huge windpump, I can not understand why because they built it next to a river. I will phone my cousin Gawie, he has a contact at the waterboard and has errected many windpumps in the Freestate. Perhaps he can give them some pointers. They havent installed the blades yet. I tried to explain to them that I know what a windpump is and that it is the biggest one I have ever seen. They were just scared that I will fall off. I learned a new French word. Eiffel - It means afval or to fall of. The people on the windpump tought me. They kept on saying Eiffel tower. And I said it is not a tower, it is a windpump, I know it well, I have climbed on a lot of them before and I have never fallen off.

Sorry I must go now, next time I will tell you about the bridge they have built over their main street. It is not finished yet. They never finish a thing they start.
